I have been having a blast lately with phsyical media. I know stickers aren't "physical media" but they're being included in this blog post because I want them to be.
My parents are getting married soon and they needed address labels for the invitations.
We had a bunch left over, so they're letting me use them for stickers (as long as I make some sticker for them as well lmao)! I put together a bunch of designs with some free art online and printed them out (GOD I LOVE PRINTERS). They turned out SO GOOD! I love them all so freaking much AUGH- You can make some sick ass designs with free art online, there's so much awesome stuff!
I realized the address labels were the perfect size for userbox stickers, so I went a little nuts with them lmao. I need to find somewhere to put them now! I'm gonna get a clear phone case and stick a bunch inside of it. Then maybe I'll run into people with similar interests and they'll ask about my stickers :D
Next on the blog agenda, I went to the thrift store today (don't worry, we'll get back to physical media very soon).
I live like...right next to it, so I really need to go more. But I went today and found some cool stuff! I got a new book that sounds pretty cool. It's Gorm by Robert Liparulo. I've never heard of it, but it looks interesting. It has to do with some rogue virus, which is a theme I love. The Andromeda Virus is one of my favorite books, so I'm hoping it'll be similar to that. I also got some DVDs! I got one about Lord of the Rings called "JRR Tolkien: Master of the Rings" (it even includes rare footage of Tolkien himself), one called The Happening, and then one called Pulse. I've never heard of The Happening or Pulse, so I'm hoping they're good! I looked for CDs, but they didn't have anything that interested me. I did find a CD holder though which I snatched up. I also found blank 8.5gb DVDs which will be important later :) Then I found two cool cross-stitched pictures of Native Americans.
I got the horse one for my mom, since she has Native American heritage.
I found a super cool signed photo of a silent film actress named Kay Laurell. The legitimacy of the signature is questionable as always, but it's still super cool. There was also a really cool pair of shorts that I didn't get cause it wasn't my style, but they were hella funky and a whole vibe. Lastly, there was a set of Catan coasters which I found kinda amusing. I didn't get those either, but I considered getting them for my dad.

So funny story, I started writing this on the 13th. It's now 4am on the 14th. Since I started writing that post, a friend took me back to the thrift store to get an outfit for my interview tomorrow! She's like a second mom to me, which I adore. The conversation went like this basically...
"So, what are you wearing to your interview?"
"I have some jeans and a nice plain green t-shirt."
"No. Do you want to go to the thrift store?"
So we went to the thrift store lmao. She bought me a nice green and white striped shirt, a pair of tan cargo pants, a black belt, and some shoes that have never been worn before. Now I'm all fancy :) I don't have pics of the outfit now, but I will tomorrow.
I'm excited for the interview tomorrow. Just very scared that if I get this job it'll be worse than my current one. But that's the risk you take I guess. I really hope I land the job, better pay and better hours would be awesome. A better manager would be great too...my current boss sucks. A certain coworker sucks as well, so better coworkers would be nice. I will miss my two favorite coworkers though :( I have a crush on one of them...not seeing her at work anymore will be sad. But we've made plans to hang out outside of work, so hopefully we follow through on that. Unfortunately for me, I think she has a boyfriend now. But hey, I don't think she's into trans men anyway.
But yeah, idk. Excited for interview, excited for physical media, excited for stickers. It's almost 5am. Not tired, but too tired to write anymore. ugh.
