I've been getting back into physical media. I have an instax mini camera and a Polaroid cd/dvd player. I hate that everything is so digital now. Physically owning stuff is so fun.
I get the initial allure of purely digital, but physical media will always be the best in my opinion. You can actually hold a cd in your hands! And instant pictures are just that, instant! In a matter of minutes you can have a fully developed picture in the physical world.
This isn't to say that digital is bad. It has its place. Backing up important memories and media is great. It's safe from physical damage, and you can access it wherever whenever you want. But purely digital has its own risks. Physical and digital are a healthy combo.
So anyway, I took a few pictures today. Pretty sure my film is expired, but it gave me some cool shots regardless.
I'm trying to find new musicians through neocities as well. So far nothing has clicked but I'm sure I'll find something I like soon enough. Planning on buying some random cheap cds from Discogs too. I'm excited to listen to My Iron Lung. Def not because of the movie Iron Lung...cough... (istg when Iron Lung hits dvd I am going to snatch that up so fast)
I'm too tired to write much more. Physical media rocks, we should all return to it.
