Look I know I already published a blog post today but I'm so freaking excited right now!

I just had my interview at the local brewery for an open position in their gift shop, and holy SHIT I literally did SO WELL. I dressed up real fancy and walked in super confident. I shook hands as well as I could (I'm not great at it but I try to be). I even got to shake hands with the president of the company who was there for some reason today which was really cool!!! They had a plastic gavel on the table that they use at the end of meetings for fun, so I pointed to it and asked if that's how they start their interviews lmao. They seemed to like that. I answered their questions honestly and let my personality shine through. It's funny, before they asked if I was comfortable talking to people the one lady said "I think I know the answer to this question based on our conversation..." because I was doing so well!!! They asked me a few questions about how I work and handle situations that pop up. They also asked if I was comfortable with possibly working the front stand occasionally, which I said I don't have experience in but would learn if they need extra help there. They seemed to like my availibility, which works great for me since I don't like working mornings. I said I'd be willing to work mornings if they needed me, it's just not something I prefer.

When we finished up, they said I interview really well! You know it was a good interview when the interviewer literally says you did a great job LMAO- It couldn't have gone any better, that was absolutely PERFECT! They'll get back to me in a few days, so hopefully I land the job. If I do, I'm buying myself a new reusable cup from work. I only have one right now, and it's nice but it's blue. It's not green like the cup I want. So I'll get the green cup if it all works out as my little treat for doing such a good job. But yeah! Literally the best interview I've ever had in my life. Fucking spectacular!
